Nancy Wilds holds a degree in philosophy from the University of Chicago and studied at the Ringling School of Art,the Memphis Academy of Art, and at Salisbury Cathedral, England.

She began her professional career as a designer of stained glass windows, a specialty that she still practices today, and that has brought her international recognition and acclaim. Her stained glass windows and one-of-a-kind commissioned pieces of stained glass art can be found in churches, cathedrals and private collections around the world.
